Indiana Performance Facilities

Wilkinson Performance Center: At the heart of the Northern Zone facility is the W. Jay and Nancy Wilkinson Performance Center - one of largest strength centers in the country. The 25,00-square-foot area is located at field level and provides student-athletes in every varsity sport with access to brand new weight training and cardio equipment. The facility houses about 150 pieces of equipment, over 11 tons of dumbbells and over 40 tons of free weights for Indiana athletes to use.

Tobias Nutrition Center: As a distinct and complementary component of student wellness, we provide the services of two full time certified sports nutritionists who provide individual and team-based nutrition wellness support and education. We make available to all student-athletes full training table meals on the Athletics campus plus, at no cost to any student-athlete, convenient nutrition centers with meals and snacks available throughout the day. The Excellence Academy’s 10,000 square foot Tobias Nutrition Center is one of the premier nutrition facilities and dining spaces in all of intercollegiate athletics.

We provide comprehensive, integrated services through nationally recognized professionals, first-class facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, cutting-edge technology, research, education, and applied science to assess, monitor, diagnose, test, treat, educate, condition, and develop our students into healthy elite athletes who thereby reach their absolute highest athletic potential and win championships. The Center for Elite Athlete Development focuses on cardiovascular testing, diagnosis, and research; neuro-cognitive issues; visual research and training; bio-mechanical monitoring and sleep, rest and recovery education.

Cook Hall Performance Center: Cook Hall is a 67,000 square foot facility for Indiana's Men's and Women's Basketball, located southeast of Assembly Hall. The facility features coaches offices, locker rooms, player lounges, along with meeting and video rooms. The state-of-the-art facility also features two regulation-size practice courts along with a training room, and 2,000 square foot strength and conditioning development area exclusive to Men's and Women's Basketball and Volleyball. Cook Hall features 24/7 player access to practice and conditioning equipment.The facility also features Legacy Court, which celebrates the unrivaled tradition of Indiana Basketball.

Indiana Sports Medicine Center: The mission of the Indiana University Sports Medicine department is to provide the highest quality medical care to Indiana University student-athletes through education, prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses. Our Sports Medicine team, consisting of Certified Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Team Physicians, Orthopedic Specialists, Sports Psychologists and Registered Dieticians is committed to providing quality healthcare and treatment in a safe environment to all athletes representing 24 sports here at Indiana University.
The Indiana University Sports Medicine department provides a unique service, which is essential to the quality health care of varsity athletes at IU and our staff will consistently serve as an advocate for the student athlete when the athlete's health is an issue.
